StartReady named Skype for Business ‘Launch Partner’

Skype for Business-specialist StartReady has been named a Skype for Business Launch Partner by Microsoft. Launch Partners are companies that closely cooperate with Microsoft and thereby lead internationally in the development and offering of Skype for Business products and services. StartReady invested in Skype for Business from the very beginning and now delivers the expertise to new customers that is necessary to implement the solution. The appointment is also proof of the fast development the company has undergone.

A few months ago Microsoft announced that the UC-solution, Microsoft Lync, would become Skype for Business. From the very first announcement of the launch, StartReady was running Skype for Business so that it could be one of the first parties to offer Skype for Business products. This has allowed StartReady to be recognized as a leader in the UC market with a complete product portfolio and standardized Skype for Business deployment and management solutions.

A Launch Partner appointment offers existing and new customers a guarantee for excellent support with the implementation, deployment and adoption of Skype for Business. For many companies it is still unclear what they can expect from Skype for Business. StartReady is fully up-to-date and can accompany them throughout the entire process, from orientation through management, to completely put them at ease.

Giovanni Mezgec, Microsoft GM from Skype for Business: “StartReady is prepared to help customers take full advantage of Skype for Business”. StartReady has developed appliances and associated software in a short time and is the leader in the market. Since the official launch, StartReady has been able to offer all the services for deployment and management of Skype for Business.

According to Lucas Wensing, CEO for StartReady, the naming of StartReady as Skype for Business Launch Partner is a welcome confirmation: “We have invested in new technology from the first announcement about the transformation of Lync to Skype for Business. Thus, we want to show customers that they can rely on our expertise and experience, not only for Lync, but also for Skype for Business. The partnership with Microsoft is a confirmation of this.”

Skype for Business combines the reliability of the Skype-version for consumers with the security, compliance and management of Microsoft Lync. With the change, companies can reach millions of extra contacts since the borders between personal and business communication disappear. With this strategic push Microsoft aims to provide true, Universal Communications.
